Pretoria
Depart Johannesburg and travel to Pretoria for city orientation. En route, visit the impressive Voortrekker Monument.

From Pretoria, head to the Mpumalanga Province and visit the stunning Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’ Luck Potholes and historic gold mining town of Pilgrim’ Rest.

Kruger National Park
Enter the world famous Kruger National Park, home to unrivalled diversity and the Big 5.

Day 6
Travelling through Swaziland
Enter and discover the Kingdom of Swaziland, its rolling hills, unique dual monarchy and rich culture of the Swazi people.

Exit Swaziland and enter into the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa.

Day 7
Durban to Port Elizabeth
In the morning, enjoy a Zulu cultural show before heading for the colourful city of Durban. This bustling African city is an eclectic mix of east meets west, set along the shores of the warm Indian Ocean.
Make your way to Durban International Airport for your short domestic flight to Port Elizabeth.

Day 8
Port Elizabeth to Knysna
Following a city orientation tour of Port Elizabeth, make your way towards the lush forest area of Tsitsikamma meaning "the place of much water", and visit the majestic Tsitsikamma National Park. Thereafter, continue along the Garden Route to the quaint town of Knysna, situated on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon.

Day 9
Knysna to Oudtshoorn
Depart Knysna and travel into the Klein Karoo region, to Oudtshoorn, the "ostrich capital of South Africa". Visit an ostrich farm and palace while on an educational and entertaining tour.
Thereafter, make your way to the Cango Valley where you will find the spectacular Cango Caves.

Day 10
Oudtshoorn to Hermanus
A full day travelling from Oudtshoorn via the scenic Robinson Pass towards Mossel Bay. Continue to Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa and nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains.
From Swellendam, travel to the coastal town of Hermanus, made famous for its clean air, rich floral kingdom, wine producing region and the best boat-based whale watching in the world (whale season: Aug/ Sept - Nov/ Dec).

Day 11
Hermanus - Stellenbosch
Depart Hermanus and enjoy a scenic and leisurely coastal drive along the False Bay Coast, before arriving in Stellenbosch, the heart of the Cape Winelands.
Stellenbosch spoils its guests with history, architectural heritage, award winning wines and much more.
Enjoy a cellar tour, wine tastings, and lunch on an historical estate.

Day 12
Stellenbosch - Franschhoek - Cape Town
Before making your way to Cape Town, head to the picturesque wine village of Franschhoek meaning "French Corner".
Franschhoek is nestled at the foot of towering mountains in the Franschhoek Valley and is surrounded by spectacular vineyards. It is known not only for producing top quality wines, but is also called the "Gourmet Capital of South Africa".
Take a leisurely stroll through the town and visit The French Huguenot Memorial. Sample cheeses and wines on various estates and savour a dining experience in one of Franschhoek’ finest restaurants.
No trip to Franschhoek is complete without visiting their famous chocolate shop!
Upon leaving Franschhoek, travel to the beautiful city of Cape Town, the "Mother City". With the world-famous landmark of Table Mountain, a World Heritage Site, as the city’ backdrop, a ride in the aerial cable-car is a trip that cannot be missed! (weather permitting)
Table Mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park and is home is one if the world’ unique floral kingdoms, the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Enjoy sweeping views over the city across to Robben Island, Camps Bay, as well as False Bay.
After checking-into your hotel/ guest house, visit the lively and very entertaining Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, with its many restaurants, shops, cafes and live music.

Day 13
Peninsula Tour
Wind your way along the Atlantic Coast to Hout Bay, along Chapman’ Peak and on to Cape Point.
Cape Point is situated within the Southern section of Table Mountain National Park and is recognised for its extraordinarily rich, diverse and unique fauna and flora, rugged cliffs and dramatic shoreline. It is the most south-westerly point on the African continent.
Thereafter, continue along the False Bay coast to Boulder’ Beach, to visit the famous African penguin colony that make this sheltered part of the bay their home.
Before heading back to Cape Town, you might be interested to take a stroll through the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens that displays the magnificence of the Cape Floral Kingdom, and offers concerts during the summer months.
